2011 Winter Scrubbieland Swap Day

Wooohooo! You know I love me a swap!

This was a little swap that was based on the same premise as the dishcloth and potholder swaps but with super cute scrubbies. The guidelines were easy-peasy:

  • Three scrubbies from the same pattern
  • Between 3×3 and 5×5 inches in size
  • Cotton, cotton blend or netting yarn
  • Holidays colors – red, green, white, blue and silver (word up to Chanukah and all of our Jewish crafters)!

This was a smaller swap but we had a great turn out of really high quality knit and crocheted scrubbies. They were all so yummy!

This time Swap Central was Eve’s dining room table in her apartment (her dear husband totally let us giggle away undisturbed – poor guy!).

Tea was had (I’m always drinking something).

Ohhhhhhs and ahhhhhhhs were said (lots of yarnie-molesting too).

Swap giddiness was abundant (gigglegigglegiggle)!

Although I wasn’t able to participate as anything other than a moderator this time around (due to some personal craziness), I still had a great time getting together with Eve and sending out little packages of holiday yarnie love.

It also didn’t hurt that two of our participants sent us mod gifts! Can’t beat a hot pink scrubbie that cleans like a beast and a Starbucks gift card! Wooohooo!!! Thanks ladies!

Ohhhhh swaps…how I love thee! =D
